Sticky, ffx

The go-to preset for creating responsive rigs and layouts in After Effects.

Sticky lets you easily attach any layer's position to another layer's bounding box. It's the perfect preset for creating UI rigs, responsive lower thirds, or any other creative layouts you can imagine. It also works with parenting, giving you even greater control.

Pro Tip: Apply the preset to an intermediary null layer, then parent other layers to the null. This allows you to use the sticking mechanism with added flexibility.

Compatibility: CC 2025 and newer English versions. (I haven't tried it on older ones.)
